Convert your Baritone ukulele from DGBE tuning to GCEA tuning and use all the normal chord shapes you know and love.

Baritone, all solid mahogany, I re glued bridge. Sanded Up a New saddle to suit and restrung it with Aquila Baritone GCEA strings.

NOTE ON TUNING: Yes normally a Bari is tuned DGBE in the same pitch as a regular guitar, in effect a guitar with 2 strings (E and A) missing.  This means you have to use different chord shapes to regular ukulele.

The Aquila set I use are calibrated to come to pitch at the higher voiced gCEA ukulele tuning. Thus you can use all the normal Ukulele Chord Shapes you know and love.

Normal baritone strings will snap if you try to tune them 4 steps higher.

But the customer wanted Low G Tuning, so I use the CEA strings from the Aquila set and instead of the hi g string that comes in the set I use a different string to get a low G tuning.
